This former dairy farm has been transformed over the years into a family get away. Scott Lewis Landscape Architecture addressed water use and intense summer sun by using a plant palette of native and drought-tolerant grasses, adding more trees for solar protection, and selecting heat-resistant paving for numerous terraces and paths including the curving walk to the old dairy barn, with its classic country rose garden and extensive kitchen garden.
