Urban Aerie
San Francisco, California

Scott Lewis Landscape Architecture led the transformation of a garage roof into an urban oasis of spacious stone terraces and durable coastal plantings – a refined complement to a high-rise pied-à-terre. Sophisticated engineering raised the outdoor space several feet to match the midcentury home’s elevation, allowing a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. Enhancing the sweeping panorama, native gardens fill hidden corners and attract local fauna to this hilltop site.
